British Camelids Association (BCA)
The British Camelids Association is a registered charity which was established in 1987 to promote the welfare of camelids and good husbandry practice in the UK amongst alpaca and llama breeders. We will make donations each year to the BCA from our profits.

Mortality and Theft Cover

You have invested time and money in your herd. It is important therefore to ensure that your investment is protected and you have the security of an insurance policy which covers at the very least mortality and theft.

So what is Mortality and Theft Cover?
Mortality and Theft cover for your alpacas or llamas will ensure that you receive the agreed value of your animal (even your cria) if it dies as a result of any accident, illness or disease manifesting itself after you have taken out insurance.

This policy will cover

Your animal being stolen under circumstances that are not excluded
Death as result of destruction where your animal has incurred an injury or has an excessively painful disease which required immediate destruction by a veterinary surgeon
Your cria can be insured from 30 days of age.
